Giancarlos Marte
Junior Software Engineer
About Me
I am currently pursuing an online Masters in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I previously earned my Bachelors degree in the same field at the University of Massachusetts Boston, graduating with a 3.5 GPA.
In addition to my academic achievements, I hold an IBM DevOps and Software Engineering Professional Certification, which has provided me with hands-on experience with modern tools and methodologies. This includes things like Agile, Scrum, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift, Flask, and more.
Beyond my professional learning, I bring my passion for technology to life through personal coding projects and continuous learning. I enjoy exploring new programming concepts and expanding my technical expertise through books and real-world applications.
I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to impactful software engineering projects and collaborate with innovative teams. Relocation within the U.S. is not a barrier, and I am eager to embrace new challenges that allow me to apply my skills, grow professionally, and make meaningful change.

My Pets
This is my bossy Chihuahua who thinks he runs the house and my long-haired orange cat who has mastered the art of selective hearing. They have a silent agreement to pretend the other does not exist, but you will occasionally find them sharing a sunbeam—from a respectable distance, of course.
